The articles I quoted had references, you can check them out. But yes, wikipedia as a whole isn't a scholarly source. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Miko Peled. As an agnostic, I don't like the idea of a religious state either (like him). I think it would be great if any group that wants the others dead would stop and make the decision to live peacefully with their neighbours
