The whole cis/trans dichotomy, when defined in terms of whether biological sex matches one's gender identity or not, is just such ludicrously unscientific malarkey
The woke crowd is (rightfully) skeptical of christianity yet basically believes in the existence of a soul that is distinct from your body, only the soul is now called 'gender identity' — but it's still the same concept
It is described as something that cannot be detected or analysed by anybody else but its owner and has no definition other than what the owner wants it to be
Yall just bags of meat and bones with some complex chemistry stuff going on and electricity zapping along though it — in the same way that the material truth of our existence leaves no place for a 'soul', it leaves no place for an innate 'gender identity'. You may feel like your thoughts are separate from your body, but that's just a side effect of how complicated your brains are. Your feelings and thoughts are shaped by your physical existence because they are PART OF IT
P.S. Part of me feels that it is these elements of religious thought inherent to the gender/woke crowd that make them so amenable towards Islam. They'd probably be fine with christianity as well actually, but christianity is very much tied to racism, oppression, and white privilege, so they'd feel bad about endorsing it. Whereas islam has the excuse of being the religion of 'non-white' people, which allows the woke crowd to ignore all the oppression that islam has caused and focus on the broader mindset that they feel a kinship to — on the faith-based and dualist approach
