i wonder if drawing really is something i want to continue or not
#drawing has consumed my life for the worse#i've neglected aspects of my life that could have been more beneficial to me in the long term#future career wise#relationships wise#goals wise#there's just a lot of things i want to pursue other than art#not even paying bills with art tbh 😅#and im a pretty vain person... the majority of my motivation for a new fanart is for virtual likes#or at least the reason for posting#and the other reason is that i've been drawing for a long time and im... Slightly above mediocre for it#and just so i can post the same thing over and over again#without any meaningful substance#it's just void of nothing#i still love erin#it's just that. what is the purpose... just to show that i really really like him as a character?#is that really what i want to spend my time on?#i dont know. it's all very meaningless in the end isnt it#maybe it's just arrogance that im somehow above it all#or something. when in the end i am just a random stranger on the internet#maybe i just need a break
