MOC: Rekbin’s Scrap Fighter 2.0 (see here for 1.5)

This will probably be the last major update to this MOC.

Ever since I first built the Scrap Fighter I’ve been trying to fix up some proper wings for it and get rid of the prototype bi-wing design. However, my previous attempts had resulted in wings either too thick or too long.

But now I finally did it, I finally made a wing design that fits what I was going for, while keeping the weapons (rotating cannons and flick fire missiles) from the old design.

Aside from that, I also added a few more touch ups to the model and finally added flight lights to the tips of the wings.

Side note: Due to the recent events surrounding Bricks and Minifigs, any updates to this model are going to be minimal for the foreseeable future and may not be posted.

SO, last weekend my local ‘Bricks and Minifigs’ had a sale on bulk bricks, and so I took the opportunity to get some parts to upgrade my Chima MOC.

Honestly, the giant purple feathers were such a great find, as they really help with the whole Raven scrap build aesthetic, and the vertical ratchet joints allowing the wings to fold slightly up in flight mode and down when landed are perfect here.
