Hello!

One of the nice things about vodou is that we have regleman/ritual order for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G, which certainly makes arranging how you want to serve your spirits much easier.

Here’s how a general week breaks down for me in the lineage I am a part of for what lwa/families go with what days:

Monday: Legba, Gede, the Bawons

Tuesday: Petwo spirits

Wednesday: Nago spirits, which is largely Ogou

Thursday: Rada spirits

Friday: Gede, the Bawons, and Djouba spirits, which is largely Kouzen/Azaka Mede

Saturday: A great catch-all day for serving all your spirits from all nasyons, especially if you are not able to serve them all during the week. The regleman for order of spirits if you’re going to serve them all on Saturdays is Legba, Radas spirits, Nago spirits, Petwo spirits, and the Bawons and Gede. You don’t have to serve all spirits on Saturdays–sometimes I will only speak to some of them if I have a particular need–but you can.

Sunday: Largely reserved for the master of the universe, but all Rada spirits can be served on Sundays as well if there is a big need.

There is some bleed through with particular spirits–there are some Ogou that can be served with the Petwo rite, and some Ogou that are served with the Rada rite specifically, and there are spirits who get served in the Rada rite who prefer Wednesday at their day, and assorted stuff like that. Those things can be tailored to your specific practice if you have those spirits who like to bleed onto different days!
