3:Â Do you have multiple Grey Wardens/playthroughs or just one?
I have a Warden for every single origin. More than that, actually. I've played through Rhoswen... three times? (b/c i'm trash and i'll probably do it again), got most of the way through my city elf Ama, started a playthrough with a mage I named Jhaver but I decided playing as a man is gross so I installed the same love mod and started over with another mage, Zephonie, who's going to romance Morrigan once I get past all that beginning stuff again. But I love Rhoswen most. I'm a terrible Warden mom.
Joining the Grey Wardens brought her a new family, the love of her life, and gave her not only a new lease on life but changed a lot of her opinions and made her a better person. So, no. She doesn't.
9:Â What was your Wardenâs first impression of Alistair?
Her very first thought regarding Alistair was in response to when he said, "I was going to name one of my children after you! The grumpy one." Completely verbatim:Â Heh. That wasn't a very good joke. He's sort of dumb, isn't he? Even for a shemlen.
12:Â What do they think of Morrigan now?
SISTERS FOR LIFE THAT BABY IS 1/3RD HERS SHE WOULD HAVE GONE ANYWHERE WITH HER TO HELP HER RAISE IT SHE LOVES HER SO MUCH AND MISSES HER EVERY DAY
18:Â What does your Warden think about Wynne now?
Wynne is her surrogate mom/grandma/motherly figure, basically. They butt heads sometimes and Rhoswen thinks Wynne can be sort of overbearing, but in a parental sort of way that she values since that was cut off from her after she left the clan. Basically she's one of the most important people in her life. (which makes what happens AWFUL)
21:Â What was your Wardenâs first impression of Oghren?
Technically the first time you meet him he's just some angry dwarf getting bossed around, so she didn't really think twice about him. After they're formally introduced, he sort of charms her a little, even if he's a rude sot. She also felt bad about Branka disappearing, and was willing to cut him some slack for that.
24:Â What does your Warden think of Shale now?
Shale is sort of harsh and sharp for Rhoswen, but by the end of the game's events she's used to it and thinks she's funny, generally. It's hard to have in-depth conversations with a giant rock who obsesses over crushing pigeons, but they manage well enough.
27:Â What does your Warden think about the Mabari war dog? How did your Warden name the Mabari that joins you when you head for Lothering?
Rhoswen had never had a pet before - the halla are companions, not pets, so when she found Dog, she didn't really know what to do with him. After being told that it's common to name pets, she decided his name was Euron, but generally she just calls him Dog. It suits him, and he responds better to just plain "Dog" anyway.
33:Â What is your Wardenâs romantic/sexual orientation?
Straight across the board
36:Â What is your Wardenâs weapon of choice?
In-game I flip flopped back and forth between dual wielding (mostly a short sword and a dagger) and using a bow, but when I write for her she mostly uses the bow (in part to differentiate her from Olympia, who initially was also a rogue).
39:Â What are some of your Wardenâs weaknesses?
Character weaknesses or literal weaknesses? She's emotional and when she gets worked up she has a hard time working herself back down, and is VERY sensitive to anti-elf sentiment whether it's intended or not. Those are two big ones. She also has bad self-esteem issues, isn't very assertive, and initially doesn't like humans OR non-Dalish elves very much, in general.
42:Â What is your Wardenâs biggest secret?
In general she's an open book. Probably the only things she keeps under wraps are her worst feelings about herself and her past mistakes (failing the hunt/vallaslin application the first time, losing Tamlen, etc).
48:Â Does your Warden have any siblings (in canon or headcanon, itâs all ok!)
Nope, only sibling.
51:Â What is something other people like about your Warden?
Probably her camaraderie. She likes to get along, and is a good listener.
54:Â What did your Warden think of Lothering?
Her very first human settlement! It seemed pretty big to her then. Finding out later that it was actually considerably small was a bit of a shock. She liked it, though, and was very sad to hear it had been destroyed.
57:Â What did your Warden think of the problem at Redcliffe? How did they solve it?
To her, it was the sort of problem that felt... inevitable? She never questioned needing to take care of it or felt like it was a burden. They needed to help set up the town for the creepy ghost attack at night, she did it. They needed to kill the creepy ghost zombies, she did it. Saving the kid and Isolde meant going to the Circle, she went to the Circle. In the words of Harry Potter, she has a minor saving people thing.
63:Â Your favourite side quest?
hmmmmmmmmmm. I am very fond of the stupid Captured! quest and all my dumb friends coming to save me.
66:Â Did your Warden make use of Morriganâs offer right before the battle against the Archdemon/the Blight?
Fun story, the first time she did not. I didn't trust her intentions, and I said no. And it was awful. I cried for ages. It's still a sad little Dragon Age hole in my chest. So now, yes. Rhoswen persuades Alistair to help all of them, and even if she wasn't completely happy about the idea, she loves Morrigan and she loves Alistair, and she loves her new life. Letting it go, even if it was the unselfish choice, was something she couldn't do.
69:Â Do you have any headcanons about your Warden that are not/go against canon?
Everything to do with the Rhoswen+Olympia AU? Baby AU? Probably a good handful of things I've forgotten are anti-canon at all.

I really like to believe that Harry only bathed that once, and everyone puts up with his stench because he's the Boy Who Lived.
like, i know we know there's a bathroom on the 2nd (? 3rd?) floor, but. where do these kids shower in the mornings/evenings? there have to be bathrooms in the dorms. how did we go six years in this school without ever learning these kids' morning routines

reginaldshoe replied to your post:things i learned today: when putting on armor, you...
That⌠sort of makes sense. I mean, with the old armor, itâd be really hard to bend over and put on your shoes after putting everything else on, yeah?
yep i'm looking at two different resources concerning fifteenth century armor and for both they started with the feet. it goes feet, legs, torso, arms, helmet. they needed help obvs but still it looks like the sabatons go underneath the greaves anyway
