2. on ocs.

i rp nothing but ocs these days, ive retired from rping already existing media. i dont like being at the mercy of canon. and sure sure i can be canon divergent and throw away as much as i want... but if im gonna throw away canon, i could just... rp an oc and not have to worry about that shit??? if i have to deconstruct a character from a piece of media to a point where theyre unrecognizable, then the media wasnt good overall and the effort to turn them into something worth writing is a waste. i'd rather just build from the ground up with my own shitty ideas. at least then the shitty ideas are on me and i can be as adaptable as i want without having to throw other shit off kilter.

anyway i love ocs. i love ocs that step out of the box and bring interesting concepts to the table. i especially love nonwhite muses that dont bend to the stereotypes placed upon them!!! no, that black oc dont have to be aggressive and ~strong all the time. that east asian oc dont have to be amiable and submissive and a doormat made out of cardboard. they dont have to be any of that. nonwhite lgbt+ ocs written by nonwhite people deserve as much respect as their Caucasian™ counterparts. they have great stories to tell

and i know that the community at large has yet to grasp concepts like this but

It was nice of the school to give the class a free trip to this place and all but-- couldn’t they have at least given them a map? They practically just dropped them off at the hotel, set a time for them to be back, then left them on their own. Of course he wanted to explore, but everyone was to tired from the trip over to go out with him, which left Jun Young on his own. But him being alone? Normally lead to him getting lost. He was just looking for a music store-- why was this so hard? 

Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.

“I live in Edge, in the 7th Heaven bar...with Tifa, Barret, Marlene and Denzel. It’s a nice simple place and I like it a lot. I even have my own private room where I do a lot of my work and crafts. It’s very comfortable and there is rarely any trouble in the bar. I there is, it isn’t anything we can’t take care of. As for the people, they are wonderful of course. Barret makes me feel real welcome, even if he does tease me a lot, haha..Tifa of course is always kind to me and I honestly never thought that I would be living with her but..I am...and the kids are wonderful as well. They always cheer me up when I’m down and I’m happy to be able to spend more time with them now.”

“I can use both of my hands really when it comes to writing or fighting, but I am more dominant on my right hand.”
