This popular South African actor, musician, scriptwriter and songwriter has been working in the entertainment industry since 2011, but he’s seen the dark side of life and want to encourage people through his music to remind themselves on a daily basis that they can achieve anything they want to. After losing both his parents to Tuberculosis as a teenager, he and his brothers were placed in an orphanage. “When I grew up I was continuously told that I will never get anywhere in life… that I am not good enough. Because of the abuse I went through as a little boy, I found myself in 2018 (more than 15 years later) where I still battled that same voice in my head, telling me that I am not good enough”, says Reggie. “That’s when I decided to write the song EK KAN.
