‘Hidden Histories, Untold Stories’ exhibition with Pueblo Pottery Figure, ‘God of Rain’ from North America and model birch bark canoes made by Native Americans placed in front of boat painting. These objects were moved from the Ethnology Gallery, where I places artworks including paper money boats, which are next to Native American money beads and copper currency. Thank you Warrington Museum for giving me the opportunity to reframe the collection by interweaving my work and collection objects with the intention of introducing new dialogues and stories. Thanks Warrington Museum and Arts and Heritage for supporting this exhibition. @artsheritage @warringtonmuseum @warringtonartsfest @culturewarrington #hiddenhistories #colonialism #horriblehistories @artsandclimate #reframingarthistory #reframingmuseums @tropenmuseum @susanstockwell #climatechange #artinstallationproject #installationartists photos@jonturner72 @patrickheideca @the_artists_agency (at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery) https://www.susanstockwell.co.uk/artworks/hidden-histories
