why is ouroboros so spiteful, and why are they named ouroboros if they aren't a snake?(?
as for why theyre named ouroboros: thats a good question !!!! all familiars are named after their job, whether that be for supplying stuff (the provision) deciding whether fimils get executed or not (the attorney) and taste testing/otherwise gobbling down spoiled batches (the scrutinator) but then they retired for a while (which, if you retire, you automatically lose your name and are referred to with a 5 digit code + a metal (i.e. 5CRU7-calcium) (they say the reactivity of the metal “just provides a bit more variation” but its been rumored that the more reactive the metal is the more you were valued in your job. anyways they were put OUT of retirement, so they had to be given the new name. to be truthful to you ouroboros didnt even know what “ouroboros” meant and thought it was just nonsense but the witches were hoping that they would continue cycling the legacy of the cookies through and create an impact that would echo on in that little community. i mean they weren’t wrong BUT -
and for why theyre so bitter, they couldn’t tell you even if they tried but theres a few things they could name and a few things they cant: 1. the power of the soul jams was at first under their “custody” (never mind that they were only a temporary holder and also the soul jams dont even work for them beyond just a few things they could do on their own already), their vindictive and controlling behaviour was encouraged a lot while they were still being educated, they find themselves entitled to almost every smaller creature below them because of it and other factors. but you could argue that theyre just Like That too :3
