A Reflection
Originally written as a thread of tweets, on Twitter.
Really starting to prove my “jack of all trades, master of none” attitude... It’s not an excuse to not try hard. It’s my reason to try my hardest at everything I do. Be adaptable. Learn lots. Try new things and learn new skills. Try everything, even if it is just once.
If I master just one thing, how will I have time to learn how to be adaptable? Being a “jack of all trades”, learning many new things and trying them all at least once... I, personally, see that as more valuable. I am one person. I only have so much time as I am allowed. I must make do with what time I have. Life is short and life is precious. No one knows if we only have one, but I guess that makes it even more imperative to make best the time you have.
I am reflective, I am happy. This is a good headspace for me. Makes me realise we really do control our own destiny. There’ll be bumps along the way, but there’s always some beauty lying behind the despair. An event in which there is much despair is perhaps also an opportunity to find the beauty that lies within oneself and within life, and others. They say “it’s always darkest before the dawn”. Maybe you have to learn to see the dawn to push through.
Or rather yet, you have to have faith and believe in the dawn to push past the darkness. You have to give the happiness energy for it to happen. I’ve always been a believer in energy behind emotion and how that drives us to think either way. If you try to see the dawn behind the darkness, the beauty in the despair, if you put energy into those thoughts, I’ve always believed it will happen. It can be incredibly hard, when your world seems shrouded in sadness. But life is what we make of it.

All these thoughts came about because I watched Markiplier play The Crooked Man, and the ending really touched me. Wow...
/ Please do not steal ma lil train of thought and try to claim it as your own. That’s mean. \
