If one needs something that canât be obtained through the traditional means, word of mouth has it that someone can get it for you. Who? Well, no one spills that. Thereâs a way to get in contact with them, of course, if you know the right people, and ask the right questions. Maybe you stumble across a forum on the holonet -- the sections of it the officers and bucket heads frequent, with their silly usernames. It doesnât matter to Hana how they come across her -- all that matters is that theyâre capable of keeping a secret, and have the credits to pay for whatever it is theyâre wanting.
Thereâs nothing that she canât get -- for the right price. And thereâs no one on the ship who doesnât want something. Itâs gotten her out of a few close scrapes before -- and a lot of blind eyes have been turned to what sheâs up to for the low low price of a bottle of hard to obtain liquor, or a weapon they shouldnât have or, hells, sheâs even smuggled reading material on board. Real books! That one had surprised her, sheâll admit.
Thereâs no one that she canât charm --
-- and as if on cue to prove her wrong, and stop her patting of herself on the back, thereâs the shiny Captain herself. Beautiful stuff, that chromium. Sheâs certain people pay an arm and a leg for it. She certain people already have. The woman is singularly deserving of her respect, and Hana gives it in the cursory salute all the other shipping workers give -- though why Captain Tin Can is down here, Hana doesnât know. She doesnât like it. Makes her nervous, and has her turning back to her work a little too quickly, eager to get back to her work, eager to fall back beneath notice. No reason Phasma would take notice -- unless someone blabbed, and if they did, so help them, they had better hope she never finds out who.
