im always a sucker for outcasts who are outcasts bc they're too much of one thing to be part of one group, but too little of the other thing to be part of the other group, so Riley is a (mostly) non-aggressive anomaly

being an anomaly, she's not trusted or accepted by animals, but not wanting to bring harm, they don't conform with the anomalies

she's self aware of her state, and tries to hide it to still be part of society. unfortunately she's pretty obvious. :( they eventually wander to the hospital, where Elliot quickly became fond of them and lets them stay in the reception area. m the other employees aren't happy about it, but since she doesn't seem aggressive they don't see much of a reason to make her leave as long as Eliot keeps her busy. they keep a good eye on her though.

Eliot is Dr. Harlow's daughter, and being such, she just kinda got thrown in with the other employees lol

she wasn't very skilled at treating patients, so she works with the secretary at the front desk

he needs to keep an eye on her though. she keeps letting in entities thinking they're just REALLYYYY sick, and she's too nice to turn them away lol

being a very extroverted people pleaser, she puts large amounts of energy into gaining the other employees friendship and satisfying their expectations. however, being the doctors daughter, they're slightly wary of her.

she was quick to accept Riley when she came to the counter asking for hospitality in the reception area, and formed a bond with them over the time they stayed there.
