1. what’s your personal favourite thing you wrote this year?

thank you aml!! 💜 AHH okay i wrote two oc x oc fics for friends which are my most recent extended works (~5.8k each) and are tied for my personal fave thing because of the intensity of emotion in both of them: “homecoming,” which is mack and alex (lyu’s oc), and “holy,” which is reese and eli (anna’s oc). i’ve posted some excerpts from “homecoming” before but have this from “holy:”

“He thinks that he might understand religion now, the incomprehensible urge to bow down and blindly devote oneself to something—someone—greater.”

that is also hands-down one of my favourite sentences i’ve written this year.
