Reecie Montana was born and raised on the Northside of Jacksonville Florida. His rap moniker “Reecie” originates from his middle name, which also is the same name as his grandfather. This name was given to him at birth in hopes of him becoming a better person than his father. Before Reecie was born, his father was addicted to drugs and heavily involved into criminal activity.

As a adolescent Reecie was exposed to a lifestyle beyond his years. After experiencing so many things most youth are fortunate enough to avoid, instead of that being a hindrance, Reecie stated “I use my experiences as motivation, plus it’s part of my story. I know when I talk about certain things that most people will relate.”

She also has the hiccups. Which for her is a very normal occurrence.
