One day, one of Caspian's relatives went missing. His twin brother, Siren (who has his own lore, but I am not gonna expand on him in this post. He is played by iBallisticSquid because I have a headcanon him and Squid Kid are twins. Squid Bros is their duo name.) Caspian was worried sick, he would never just really vanish without telling him. The two were pretty much inseparable, as close as two brothers can be.

He blamed the overworld, their family warned them of the overworld and humans in general. Caspian and his brother are squid-siren hybrids that are more merfolk, they are under the belief that humans want them dead just for their species alone. He was scared, but he decided fuck it and swarm up to the overworld to explore and find his brother. Unfortunately, things went south pretty quickly.

He wasn't up there for too long, maybe ten minutes max before he was found by a human and captured. Sheriff Sherman Thompson found him and immediately acted on his instincts, sensing danger in his town and captured the siren. Caspian was obviously horrified, proven right by the fact that humans thought of them as monsters before they reached the prison and he found his twin brother in there, alone.

With a cannibal by the way, yeah, Crops was just chilling there. Crops and Siren have their own little lore. He was horrified and immediately started snapping at the sheriff, using his siren abilities to get him to listen as he just explained Siren and him were harmless. Maybe it wasn't entirely the siren abilities on why Thompson let them free, but he seemed interested in Caspian too.

Siren and Caspian were captured for the same reasons. They were meant to go home, but Siren said he actually preferred to live here. He apparently became... Fond of the cannibal he was forced to be jailed with. So, Caspian agreed as much as he wanted to go home. They had human forms after all that they can change into, so they just acted and pretended they were humans, despite Crops and Thompson knowing otherwise. Nothing similar to them being a siren, merfolk, or even a squid. The closest you can get is that they both have red eyes or their singing.

Thompson decided to keep their secret and Crops did too. Frankly, Crops really couldn't give much of a fuck. Caspian soon became a big target for bandits because he dressed more modern than the others. He had a more fancy attire and would wear a lot of jewelry, especially with themes of the sea and the ocean. He was a lot cleaner than most of the others in the town.

Whenever a bandit would chase to him and get what they wanted to steal, Thompson would often get it back right after. Caspian would say right after he got it back that he didn't need saving and Thompson would argue that despite his species, he was small and the bandits could still hurt him. Plus, he never would chase after them when Thompson would. It's like he wanted protection.

After the new general was decided, Jackie and Porkius grew very close and quite fond of each other, even if Porkius refused to admit it. Around the time of his birthday, Jackie decided to get him a birthday gift. He went to go to a different gladiator arena that was a lot more... Unhealthy.

They would sell their gladiators when they believed they became too "hostile" or "dangerous" for simple battles. One of the gladiators being sold was Guardian, who acted more animal than human. He has sharp teeth, extremely messy tentacle hair that was chained together into a messy ponytail, and claws.

He was missing an eye, like it was ripped out and it seemed almost infected. He seemed afraid of his surroundings, horrified actually, when Jackie approached his cage, he was hissing and scratching at the bars to make Jackie back off. He's a squid-guardian hybrid with a more dominant squid side.

Jackie ends up settling on Guardian to buy and he gives him to Porkius as a surprise. First, Porkius is confused, thinking it was another gladiator until Jackie specially labels Guardian as his "guard dog". The way Guardian acts towards him, being more aggressive than submissive, makes Porkius very... Interested in the squid. He slowly ends up gaining his trust overtime and honestly, he ends up liking Guardian a lot and naming him that because he guards him.

Guardian ends up becoming extremely obsessive and loyal to him. In the way Calamari is to Billiam, but a lot more aggressive. He can barely handle it when someone else is near Porkius and ogre shoves himself between the two of them to be closer to Porkius. He acts like a feral dog, acting more on instinct than anything human.

He often has a hard time walking on two legs, something that Porkius had to teach him. He had to be taught to be more human, but even he barely understands being human. He feels more like an animal. He is only learning how to be human from Porkius, but still act on instinct so heavily. It's something he struggles with.

Billiam understands, but not in the same way as Calamari.

Ranbutler tries to, but he just really can't with some aspects.

Karl tries, but he has his moments and really can't. He acts like he does.

Sebastian doesn't want to.

James is in his own world. (Drunk)

Lyaria tries, but has a harder time understanding than Ranbutler.

Oliver is confused by the question, he doesn't at all and he doesn't really want to understand.
