SEBASTIAN: [It had been far too long since Jesse and Sebastian had been able to speak properly. What with Sebastian becoming increasingly busy with school, lacrosse and college applications, as well as Jesse's workload at UCLA likely piling up, the two of them hadn't had the chance to truly catch up beyond a stray text message here and there, and to Sebastian, that simply was not adequate enough. Sebastian certainly was not as close to Jesse as he was to people who lived closer by, but he definitely wanted that to change. Now that he basically had a foot out of the door that was his high school life, he wanted to get closer to Jesse, who could very well become a friend who lived nearby is Sebastian ended up going to Stanford in the fall. And even if he didn't, Sebastian believed that Jesse was one of the people he had met in America who was the most similar to him, and one of the people with whom he enjoyed a carefree friendship. He was unsure whether or not Kurt was amicable to this friendship, but Sebastian was never really one to listen to people if they told him not to spend time with a certain person. He liked to judge people on his own terms and did not let their relationships with other people govern whether or not he was willing to pursue a friendship with those people. As a result of their not speaking for some time, the two had scheduled a Skype call on an evening where both of them were miraculously free. As Sebastian booted up his computer and logged into his Skype account, he realised that he was excited to speak to Jesse again. Seeing the green icon that indicated Jesse was online, he pushed the call button, realising exactly how long it had been since they had spoken properly and knowing that they would immediately be able to reconnect and catch up.]
