The perspective looks off, which makes Marienette…short?

More than likely, yes. Two of Dobson’s biggest issues with his comics are perspectives and consistency between panels, to the point that you could redline almost any of his art/comics and find all sorts of issues.
And his perspectives end up bad because he typically traces his backgrounds if the art/comic is fanart/fan comics. It’s very obvious when you look at building and set pieces from it.
