THE PAST: YOU HAVE BEEN REDEEMED!
As I continue my walk with God, on the path righteousness, I've found myself struggling with temptation and the ill towards feelings from my past. With that in mind, I want to take a moment here, and talk about Redemption and God's everlasting Saving Grace.
If you have been Saved, and are walking with Jesus, there are going to be days where you still struggle with who you were in your past. The dark feelings will come back in little waves, and when that happens, you have to turn toward God. His glory, redemption, and grace will always be there for you, patiently waiting. He's there with open arms, for whatever you need or whatever you're feeling. If you just go to God, He will bring a peace in your life that is completely ordained by Heaven. Here's a verse for you: John 14:1 which declares, "Let not your heart be troubles;you believe in God, believe also in Me."Â
Whatever struggle you're facing or what battle you're trying to overcome, just know God and His Son are there, already battling your wars for you. They will always be on your side. God also wants you to come to Him, for EVERYTHING! Every problem you may have right now, talk to God about it and then pray hard. He will HEAR YOU AND DELIVER YOU. You may think He's not working in your favor, but He is. He is always working in your favor. God wants you to be completely HONEST with Him. It may feel like He's far away from you, but He's not. That's the enemy trying to get inside of your head, to make you try to turn away from Him.Â
Go to God, when you're in the face of temptation and when you are confused, torn, and unsure about your problems or future decisions.Â
In my next blog, I would like to talk about relationships through Christ, Himself. Remember, Jesus loves you more than you know. His love for you will ALWAYS be REMEMBERED ON CALVARY CROSS.Â
