Me and this guy- woodshedding ideas for years. People closed the door on us at every turn. We stuck to our guns, and kept recording. Kept progressing regardless of what they said . We finally did this record with my uncle. He believed in us and recorded even more tracks with us. We put it out on our home label. This is the first week in a lonnggg time I took off from writing and got to watch people enjoy the music (but I keep writing down lines here and there). Happy birthday Uncle Archie! On May 24th, 1937, my uncle was born. 83 years later, we got to spend some time together, and created the Ocean Bridges album. The dude is an innovator, and still open to the new things life can offer, being 17years away from being a century. A cool cat. Never leaves the house without a suit. In his words, “I’m a philly boy at heart. We dress sharp.” I love you. Thanks for spending time with me and my friends and making this album.
