EVERYONE HAD SETTLED INTO their new lives, wanting to start families, ruling over their people and Grog felt like he was being left behind. The goliath was too restless and too reckless to be stuck in one city for long. Having never needed much, he packs what he can, fills his cask and follows the winding path from the castle to the bakery his friends now own. Through the window, he can see the shock of white hair, a constant stark reminder of a time they had all failed. Still he lifts his hand, getting her attention before entering.

The bell catches everyone’s attention but he pays them no mind. “ I gotta get out of here. ” The words come out in a tumble, surprising even him. Taking a few steps forward, he drops his voice so customers of the shop don’t over hear. Grog knew that out of everyone, his best buddy Pike would understand how he felt. “ We been sitting here for too much. I can’t do it anymore, I’m going out of my mind. ”
