Patrick Murk, Executive director of the Bitcoin foundation did a Q&A on Reddit.
Mr Murk was bombarded with questions about the future of Bitcoin to what are his future plans for the Bitcoin foundation and even how should the foundation position itself against the new US Congress.
When it comes to the Foundation's approach to regulation the director indicated that "some level of appropriate regulation" will expand Bitcoin's power in the US economy.
In addition, the newly appointed director wants to bring in some revenue by creating an educational department.
He acknowledged that they are considering starting "developer workshops and training, certifying softwares and crowdfunding initiatives throgh Lighthouse"
