Is it fair for me to say that if Tats decides to make the Trump supporters the designated good guys, he'll lose the last bits of his crumbling mask? I know he's mask off to anyone who matters, but people love to tout "Both Sides" and act like it does anything to cover their bullshit. If he makes the Q Coup K'Ah-choo group the good guys for the Year arc, then he discards that "Both Sides" excuse.
It’s weird that Tats spent years and years glorifying the Sisterhood, a group who are constantly smashing Devilcorp shit in the service of their social justice goals, but then when there actually are historic massive nationwide protests against state brutality in which a police station was burned down (by a right-winger, incidentally), Tats is so furious and offended that he doesn’t just rant against BLM (without actively saying the name), doesn’t just make the MAGA Man the new protagonist while shunting the Sisterhood and the fembots into complete irrelevance, but starts filling in entirely unrelated right wing ideas just because that’s his new team.
This is a comic that was nominally radfem for eight years, and then flipped on a fucking dime to one where the heroic family is one where the woman sees a baby and just naturally decides to be its caretaker while a strong and powerful heroic man defends the family with his rifle.
And it works. A good man with a rifle is so powerful that the illuminati (((devil))) government is powerless to stop him!
