foster needed ASAP: we need a foster for him please. Who will step up until he’s adopted ? So We got an urgent plea from one of our previous adopters, they indicated to us that this puppy was being abused (strangled to be exact) by an abusive husband. The wife couldn’t stand to see the puppy be hurt any longer and surrendered him to us. He is an 11 week old red bone coonhound/mastiff. He’s so sweet and goofy and is so happy to be out of that home. We need a name! Check out his black tail, looks painted which is pretty cool. What should we name this little big guy? Sorry for the blurry and dark pictures, we will take better ones this week. A note from our previous adopter that originally brought this to our attention: "We've adopted two rescues from Mutts and Runts, and believe that it is our job as humans to properly care for and love God's creation in which he has given us dominion over. My husband and I are working with this couple, teaching them the Bible, and God's standards and morals of living. We have explained that both: domestic and animal abuse are punishable offenses. Even more, Romans 13 makes it clear that God has put these law's and governments into place for our benefit, protection, and for delivering his wrath to those breaking the law. What's more, ones who chose to, actual place themselves in opposition to God! The husband has MUCH difficulty everyday due to tours in the Middle East. He struggles everyday, not that this is ANY acceptable excuse for his behavior, but we're working very hard to aid both his wife and him with gaining God's viewpoint on all these issues. "Sending someone to beat him up", etc... As some have suggested, well, this won't change a thing for his and his wife's life. ALL things are possible with God, and if anything will help this family, it's Him!
