Crossover AU
When Chris is done with the BOW Black Dragon member and is ready to move on... Cassie makes sure that he knows that she is very impressed as she flirts with him. Chris might try to act professional but she is definitely like her dad. Once Cassie sees someone that she likes she will continue. She will even squeeze his biceps to get a good feel of those muscles.
(Flirt) (Older Man/Younger Woman)
The corridor finally went quiet—smoke thinning, alarms dying down to a dull whine. The last Black Dragon B.O.W. lay unconscious at Chris’s feet.
Chris Redfield rolled his shoulders once, already moving on, mission-first as always. “Area’s clear. Let’s—”
“—Hold up,” Came a bright voice behind him.
Cassie Cage stepped into his space with an easy grin, eyes tracking him shamelessly from boots to shoulders. “Wow. Clean takedown. Efficient. Zero wasted motion.” She circled just enough to make the point land. “You do that often, or was that just for me?”
Chris cleared his throat, professionalism snapping into place. “Just doing my job, Lieutenant.”
“Oh, I know.” Cassie leaned in conspiratorially. “And I’m very impressed by how seriously you take it.”
Before he could sidestep, she reached out and gave his bicep a playful squeeze quick, deliberate, and absolutely testing the rumors. Her eyebrows shot up. “Yep. That checks out.”
He froze for half a second, long enough to be human then gently caught her wrist and eased it down, careful and respectful. “Cassie.”
She laughed, unbothered, eyes sparkling. “Relax, Redfield. Field assessment. I like to know my teammates are… solid.”
“I am solid,” he said, trying not to smile. “And we’re moving.”
“Copy that,” she said, already backing away, hands up in surrender. Then, with a wink: “But for the record? If this were a first impression, you absolutely nailed it.”
Chris shook his head and started forward. “Focus.”
Cassie fell into step beside him, boots matching his stride without trying. “I am focused,” she replied sweetly. “On surviving, winning… and maybe seeing if you flex like that again.”
A beat.
“…Sir.”
He huffed a quiet laugh despite himself—and didn’t tell her to stop.
