Asguardian aging has always made me curious. I mean for Lord of the Rings elves, according to Tolkien, they slowly age through childhood and adolescence and hit maturity at 200, then barely age from that point on. I was kind of wondering if it was like that, considering they did not cast actors who look 17-20. But elves are immortal and Aesir live like 5000 years. Ugh. Thoughts?
Yeah! I figure it works that way in Asgard too, since Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg are older than Thor supposedly but about 1000 years but donāt look significantly aged.Ā
Like, they probably hit maturity and their aging plateau for long while, before they hit their elderly years and the greys start to show.Ā
