clicked my oxfords and lost my transparent raincoat running to answer this bee i need to know what your favorite song from it is. off the london soundtrack i can’t pick between cards and clean but from the broadway performance it’s definitely i am back no contest. i hear benjamin walker’s belting in my restless dreams.
i literally cannot sing my praises loud enough for this musical and i don’t even like musicals. the synthy electronic 80s-but-fresh soundtrack the perfect mix of comedy and horror the choreography the way it tracks with the novel instead of the film. ugh. the way he just walks around twitching and bloodsoaked in his underwear while he interacts with the rest of the characters for a good twenty minutes. they did SO good making patrick look pathetic, rude and ultimately forgettable which i think is lost in the movie, as good of a job christian bale did the script very much so makes him seem like an Important Shining Star. i liked when he peanut danced his way through the crowd in killing spree.
