I’m so glad to hear your copy arrived safely!!! Thank you so much for supporting the book, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Oh, my apologies if my wording was confusing anon! I can certainly explain it no problem.

Basically, I have to order prints of the books in certain amounts (eg, 100, 200, 300 books). There are also copies for the artists, so they will receive a copy each, plus the giveaway copy.

So the way it works out is

Artist copies + Giveaway copy + Preorders= total “purchased” copies

Printed books - Total “purchased” copies= Remaining copies

Remaining copies will be taken with me to Smash! in August (plus any pick up preorders). After Smash! whatever is left will be available online aftwards. But depending on how things go, depends on how many copies will be left after total “purchased” copies.

Say hypothetically there are 30 preorders, 30 artist copies and 1 giveaway copy. That’s 61, yes? Logically, I would then have 100 copies printed in total, with 39 being the remaining copies. Now Smash! has several thousand people attend and say I’m really lucky and sell 30 copies. That would mean there would only be 9 left over to sell online.

Of course, if the numbers were to go past 100 then I would get 200 copies printed, and so on and so forth. (These are all hypothetical numbers don’t forget)

Hence why, if you really want a copy, I would suggest to ensure you preorder because:

you will get bonus goodies

I have no idea how many copies I will sell at Smash! If I sell out, then I sell out.

Ah, I’m glad to hear it. While I know some people might find my response a little harsh, I do hope you understand why I said what I did. More often than not, such comments are aimed at the artists and I don’t feel it’s fair for us to be targeted for simply drawing something that we enjoy.

I certainly understand how frustrating it is when lesser characters don’t get drawn as much!

While I understand that you may be upset that a character you like isn’t part of the main illustrations, it’s actually quite rude to act like this.

We’ve all worked very hard on our art pieces and making snide comments aimed towards myself (the organizer) or the contribution artists is unfair. We’re celebrating a series we love and enjoy. Sometimes that means we pay more attention to certain characters than others. Unfortunately, that’s just the way it is.

I’d also like to re-iterate the fact that there were several very key characters who did not have any art either. Tokiomi and Maiya are two of reasonably involved characters in Fate/Zero and they too did not get art.

There’s also the fact that Shirou, the main protagonist of Fate/Stay Night, only had two submissions himself. As someone who is a fan of this character, I too am saddened by the lacking art of this character. It happens.

I’ve had a quick double-check and none of the main illustrations include FSN Assassin or FSN Caster. I had plans to do a piece with Medea but I’m not 100% sure I’ll finish it.

The bookmark print and one of the possible extra bonuses are planned to have at least all the Servants, but I can’t make any guarantees I’m afraid.

There were a couple of characters that were missed in general (both FZ and FSN Assassin, Tokiomi, Risei, Maiya, Caren, etc) as the artists had free reign to draw the characters they wanted as long as it was within the theme.
