After completing Mass Fusion (I’m a Railroader for life, so I was undercover) and becoming enemies with the Brotherhood, Danse obviously won’t speak to me anymore even though I maxed out his affinity.
What’s really sad though is after finishing the Mechanist plot arc, I had Jezebel at Red Rocket because Sanctuary is super full (several dogs, a few cats, almost all my recruited companions [except Longfellow bc he deserves to be in the comfort of his own cabin sometimes], plus a built Automatron I lovingly named Freddie) and I also put Danse there for safety since the BOS was still intact and I didn’t want them shooting up Sanctuary just cuz ol’ Dansey was farming a carrot or some shit yk.
So I was trying to talk to Jezebel to see if she had anything to say about the Mechanist (she didn’t) but Danse needed to speak to me! I was like whoa brother what’s up!
And he was like “I hope my personal issues didn’t scare you away :(”
“No bro not at all!”
I was given the option a third time for a romance arc! But declined because although neither I nor my Sole Survivor are monogamous I’m not really in the Danse camp yk so I said, “we’ll always be the best of friends :)” (REAL QUOTE NOT PARAPHRASED)
“I’ll hold you to that :’)”
And I was like omg did they finally patch it? Can you keep Danse as a buddy post BOS-hostility?! So I tried to activate him and
“I’d Just Like To Trade A Few Things.”
