This fic is not for the faint of heart. Though this fic is dark, it is not in the way Paint It Black is.
It is dark in a way that it eloquently captures a world, a life devoid of hope.
The author has always been very good in making you feel a character's despair. That remains true in this fic. I always have found it to be the character's niche.
If what you are in the mood for is a tale that is beatific in utterly haunting despair, then, take this to a quiet corner, read and feel its impact as it was naturally intended.
