"Summer Poem" by Ailbhe Pascal (2015) These days are billowing skirts, Full and quick on the eyes-- An orange for a pillow. Deathless Oya, I have been feeling rivers these days, Frothing 'fore the fall. I bring poetry with me to the toilet, Cuz it's hard to find good company In nakedness. If this is mud, it is a pillow. We taste salt, Free woman to free woman, Howling women of clay and ribbon. Is this the rest of my life, Elegant and ridiculous?
