Over on the blog today, I posted a story about a woman named Laura and her 83 year old mom, Betty who are in search of a vintage cookie recipe dating to about the 1950s/1960s era. 🍪 The recipe is called Date Accordions and it is one of their family favorites. Accidentally, the recipe got thrown out and poor Betty is heartbroken! I’m on a mission to help get her reunited with her favorite recipe, but I’ve exhausted all my search options both online and in my extensive collection of vintage cookbooks, clippings and recipe cards. I decided to branch out. Sesame Ginger Glazed Tofu with a side of steamed veggies. I was going to do a honey buffalo sauce.
