As my project keeps growing and growing, now I learned how to add more objects to the in-game Edit Town mode.
I'm adding objects that make sense, like traffic lights, billboards, road signs, streetlights and large decorations:
I'm also really digging through the files to find objects that, for some reason, EA decided to hide from the catalog. Like this nice GARGOYLE from World Adventures. I see nothing wrong with it, yet EA decided to hide it:
And in case you're curious, this is what the Misc Decor category looks like now:
It starts with bathroom clutter, then laundry clutter, bedroom decorations, clothing racks, kitchen clutter, drinks and bottles, living room decor, study decor, art and crafts studio, magic decor, movie props, tech stuff, garage decorations, garden stuff, umbrellas, pool and beach decorations, firefighter station, restaurants, community lots, business signs (neon, hanging, floor and large), city decorations, city structures (windmills, etc), ancient China and Egypt decor, and finally structural elements.
I think this was the most intuitive way of ordering everything, starting with the smallest room in the house and slowly moving to the outside, then to community space and finally to the city at large. The structural elements at the very end also make sense because it will make it easier to find them.
I'm open to suggestions if you think something doesn't make sense!
