Reflections on 2014
As 2014 reaches the final hours from me. It's been quite a year of activity with new experiences and new lessons learned. 3 words to describe 2014....travel, social, and unexpected. Here's my recap of 2014
January highlights -kicked off the new year at John Collins (not pictured) -back-to-back bday celebrations for Ann and Adrienne! -first trip to Portland
February highlights: -First trip to Seattle -State Bird Provisions -Agnes's birthday! (not pictured...)
March highlights -Bootie SF with Kaitlyn -The beginning of regular cousin dinners in East Bay -Catchup session with Doremus girls (not pictured) -Booking my Italy trip! First trip to Europe!
April highlights -(finally) learning how to ride a bike w/ Michelle -that one night we attempted to do tree pose buzzed.... -annual Easter Sunday brunch w/ Adrienne, 3 years now, i think it's becoming a tradition :) -flying to Italy!
May highlights -Still in Italy!!!! so many highlights from that trip, but among them -getting to celebrate Michelle's bday in Italy, hiking Cinque Terre, doing a wine tasting in Florence, gelato daily, and visiting the Vatican! -(not really a highlight) but sending Agnes off to NY after Italy
June highlights -Happy Birthday Kaitlyn! -Napa trip with friends -Going out with Molly, Kaitlyn, and Adrienne
July highlights -Celebrating the bestie's bday in Vegas! Happy Birthday to Ceci <3 -Last Vegas visit to Becky -Seeing Zedd live -Jomar and Ann's annual BBQ (not pictured)
August highlights -Bonkuras reunited in SF! (aka Melissa's visit to SF from Japan) -Vegas LDW
September highlights -Giants 10k race, post-Vegas trip, that was a toughy -Celebrating Peggy's bday with fried chicken again haha (developing tradition?) -That one time Fan, Hanson, and Denny tried to do downward facing dog, sober, and still struggled.
October highlights BEST MONTH EVER! -(not really a highlight but what the hey) turning 26 and entering my late 20s -CAL vs UCLA game, courtesy of Kabam -NY trip my bday weekend and seeing old friends who migrated over -coming back to work and seeing my desk decorated with a Frozen theme -Halloween (not pictured) dressing up as Sailor Venus with my coworker dressed up as Sailor Moon
November highlights: -Vegas (again) but finally going with Kat Pham after many many conversations! -Booze trolly team event around SF. I love working with these girls! -Annual Friendsgiving!
December highlights -Portland trip #2 for Jomar's bday! -watching Kinky Boots w/ Curtis with rush tickets, side orchestra for $40/each? heck yea! -Company holiday party at the Bently Reserve, beautiful venue! Curtis as my +1 again, but I've now nicknamed him my "holiday hubby" as he's typically my holiday party +1 at every company party. (First company holiday party in 2012...someone thought he was my husband) -Kaitlyn got engaged!!! and...I'm a bridesmaid, so shopping for THE dress with her. -Christmas Eve board games, random snacks, and Teddy, I wasn't home this year, but it was still a great Christmas -Christmas hot pot w/ friends and Denny's family (not pictured) -Friendsmas + white elephant (not pictured) more eating -Curtis winning the Fantasy Football league and having a cheesy West Wing reference convo about it
