following on from a post by my buddy absnthgrl i’m like .......................................... I will forever commend those who play female characters , female ocs , woc in general because wow the difference i’ve seen between how people interact with Eggsy and people who used to interact with Sooraya is  STAGGERING.  if i’m distanced from people , mutuals and otherwise , this is why -- because it’s evident , and just.  SO telling , when you’re willing to follow and invest time* in a white male character i’m  BARELY developing on , by comparison to a muslim woc mutant who is  a. a  thousand times more interesting and badass and  b. has  worlds of development on her shoulders like ??? it speaks volumes abt you and if you ever feel like you’ve ignored one to place treatment on the other , step back and self-reflect.
female charas have always had a mountain to climb and it’s a pisstake , tbh.
