Don't mind me I just want to do a random little explanation for what likes and reblogs do on here as to what they kinda do here on Tumblr for anyone that's kinda new.
Likes are kinda like bookmarks on Tumblr. They are nice to have but that does really help the creator of said post. That's all they pretty much do. Also if you go to your blog you can see all the things you have liked so that's what I mean by the likes being like bookmarks.
Reblogs: Whenever you reblog a post it will be shown on your page for your followers/who ever is looking at your blog said post. This will help gain attention towards the original creator of said post that you reblogged. Plus like I said with likes they do make the creator happy when they see lots of people enjoying their stuff and reblogs help get their content out there for more people to see.
I will also say that you should make sure to not spam likes or reblogs like crazy as it could make someone uncomfortable. No this isn't from personal experience I promise. Just wanted to do a small explanation here on my page for anyone who finds this post to make sure they have a better idea at how some things work here. Just wanted to lend a hand and help the newcomers of Tumblr.
