anyway small things that helped me get out of being sad and having low self esteem
because some of yall need it (some have been said before but i wanted to say it out of my experience). these are small things that seriously changed my life, although it wasnt over the course of a day. of course, you need to give it effort.
- stop 👏making👏self depricating👏jokes. even if its your entire sense of humor. flip that table and instead of making it self depricating make it self-aggrandizing (ex.: *drops something* "i want to die" "im the best)
- appreciate the small things!!!!! the small pleasures that bring you happiness are important.
- do you have any idea of how cool the graphics in our world are????? look at how detailed your pillow is! you can see every mark!!! same thing for you and everything around you!
- go outside. please. i know it sounds stereotypical, but really, getting some sun it's important. get some nice bops, put on headphones, take a walk pretending youre in a movie or music video. or just sit outside and hear animals make noise.
- alternatively, open your windows and take a breather for a few minutes
- make going to bed a nice experience. get some comfy pj's, some nice music maybe, wrap yourself in warm blankets.
- shower at least once a day if you can!!!! being clean feels seriously good, trust me. (and going to bed squeaky clean?? even better)
- get a hobby that doesnt involve social media. or practice it if you have one. having a goal you want to go to or doing something you like is a valid reason to get up in the morning.
