Let's talk about not feeling like you're enough. We've all been there. (If you haven't- you're not human). Tonight I didn't feel like enough going into my yoga class. I was SUPER negative about it because I didn't feel like my Normal bouncy self. I wanted to lay on my mat in savasana for the entire hour. I didn't feel like I had it in me to GIVE that encouragement to someone else....Bc I so badly needed it. I was coming from a place of lack and Ungratefulness. ----- But then someone came. She showed up, and so I decided that I better get over throwing a pitty-party and SHOW UP for her. ...And guess what?? Suddenly I started speaking to myself. Suddenly my words were like a healing balm to my wounds of worthlessness and (like the grinch) my heart felt like it grew 3 sizes bigger in just one stretch of an hour!! I really needed to know that I was worth something- I didn't need to be coddled by someone else, I didn't need to drown my feelings in food or chocolate or shopping. (What I really wanted)🙈 I just needed to take a step back. Breathe. And freaking TELL myself that I was enough. When you treat others how YOU yourself want to be treated- when you pour into others the same kind of love that you know you desperately need- you are learning to heal yourself. You are learning to teach from an authentic and vulnerable place... which is more relatable anyways- and gets a whole lot more done in terms of walking right OUT of that dang pitty-party and moving on with your life. Don't LET yourself get stuck. It's not worth it. Put on your big girl panties and DEAL with your feelings- because in the end we all need the same kind of love, positivity, and rest that we love to NOT give ourselves for stupid reasons. I Left with the biggest heart -full of gratitude for teaching. Because it made me DEAL with my issues...so I could show up and be present in my own life again.💗✨ #teamwholehearted #realtalkthough
