Tbh I would throw Escavalier on a Zucchero pokemon team, that I'm never making, as this beetle has lances and is holding onto a snail shell, which reminds me of Soft Machine's rapier and Zucc's hair

Like. Pokemon are not a new addition to this world, and that'sthe problem in the logic. You're thinking of a situation where a Normal Person like you or I was shocked by the 50,000 + volts a Pikachu can produce. Pokemon and humans have been shown to live amongst each other for literally millions of years, so it's not unlikely they influenced each other. As Pokemon can be to domesticated, humans evolved - Darwin-style - to withstand the powers of Pokemon. It still hurts, obviously, but humans in the Pokemon world are much stronger than we are.
