i agree with your mini EO synopsis. I've always said that the way Elliot left the show is something that the character of Elliot Stabler WOULD do as shitty as it was. Like he always had the tendancy to just shut her out, back away during adversities. His strongest quality in reference to their relationship is how protective he is of her but anyhow In my fantasies he stops being an ass long enough to get his shit together and be good to her and they're awesome and lovey lol
totally agree with you. their relationship in the fanfics are so much nicer, which is why i can ship them. but in the show, he's mostly just an ass. he's overprotective, and has, in my opinion, ruined several chances for her to have some happiness.
