you can look at it from one angle - angel was absolutely alone and lost in life, without a normal chance to find a job, a better place, friends. lee was absolutely alone and lost in life with only one dream - to die. put together like two halves of a wrong puzzle, they were able to find their happy life in a strange way.

you can look from another angle - angel had hope for something else, because there is always hope. maybe they could get help. maybe they could find a good job. maybe they could become friends with that cool girl from the clinic. lee, by manipulating them, leading them, acting without their consent, placed them in a situation with no safe escape.

it's a moral kaleidoscope, you can look at facts from different angles, put them together in weird combinations and judge how it makes you feel?

is it right? is it not?
