evidently all these things make me an angry abusive man. during the argument, the other person was standing, leaning over a table, getting closer and more in my face as they got frustrated, and i was seated the whole time. and then "well clearly t does make you aggressive" because i . . . held my ground while they berated me?

like. it was the same as the way the first thing out of a skinny/pretty/popular person's mouth when a fat/ugly/weird person dares to disagree with them is "yeah well you're fat/ugly/weird and this makes you a threat to my comfort"

thankfully the rest of my friends have heard this person accuse me of all of this (behind my back, while playing friends to my face) and were immediately aware that it was bullshit

to be fair, this friend is having an episode and we are all aware of that, but normally my friends don't go on a four-day transphobic and intersexist tirade about how all people on t are aggressive and abusive and can't be trusted. like, the anger is understandable bc that's the triggered symptom, but the fact that they reached so easily for such heavy transansrophobia... sigh. i genuinely hope we can repair this relationship, but apparently they've been calling me abusive for months (without addressing anything directly with me at all) and want me and my partner kicked from our community.

oh i was so fixated on turning characters into ponies for a hot minute so ive got a few designs lined up from ages ago, I've also thought abt reasonings behind most characters' species

Garcias are mostly earth ponies for vibes , tbh . down to earth and especially in david's case focused on tradition and hard work . Kate being a pegasus sets her apart from them , and theres a metaphor in there about her wanting to be a "free spirit" of sorts or leave the confides of her marriage n responsibilities to the kids all together

Gabe n Mari's bio mom in my mind was a unicorn , but Gabe is presently the only unicorn in his family . on top of that , hes the only unicorn he knows PERIOD since the apocalypse began . this goes into his insecurities and feeling small , "unmanly"(incapable of protecting those he loves) and generally misunderstood/heavily criticized , especially by Kate , who is unable to relate to Gabe , even if they both come from a place of being frustrated with their roles and capabilities toward keeping their family and themselves safe

Clementine is an earth pony because thematically it just makes sense to me , her being able to do things that people assume she shouldnt be able to fits in with her not having magic or flight like other pony species . she gets around without it by using her wit

Louis and Marlon are both pegasi to me mainly because I can just picture them flying together n racing each other in the sky or getting into flight related sports/games before the apocalypse together . theyre just flying buddies to me I can't view them any different . and I think Louis being a pegasus with a very "un-pegasus-like" talent/interest is fun and makes sense why his parents wouldnt readily indulge in his desires for singing lessons

I admit Violet is the one whose species I've thought the least about in terms of reasoning. I fear she just gives off the energy of a unicorn to me lol but I can also see her being an earth pony for a similar reason to Clem. But also I do like the image of her not being very magically inclined but moreso using her horn as a weapon itself. Who needs a butcher knife ? (silly)
