ALRIGHT I HAVE A LOT SO WE’LL START FROM THE BEGINNING:

david: a very nice and simple introduction to hot boi summer 23! he makes working out sound hot- ANYWAY angel being a menace as always and david being so soft with them like :,) and angel going to find him i’m crying

the spiciness was good! i just imagine the guy on camera was like “yeah i’m gonna leave them be” lmao

overall a great audio and a nice intro to the lineup :)

vincent: a very good vincent audio in general and i loveee the story for this one! the fact that these two are so comfortable with just doing their own thing and just going to a 7/11 dressed up is amazing. i love their relationship so much. VINCENTS SLURPEEEE I LOVE HIM. the spiciness was so good. I JUST WISH WE GOT A GLIMPSE OF WHAT VINCENT WAS SAYING UGHHHH

overall i love this audio and it’s very cute with a hint of spice :)

avior: AVIORRRRR

this was the one i looked forward to the most (and anton) BECAUSE SPICY WITH AVIOR YES PLEASE. this one is definitely my favorite on so many levels. THE FACT HE MADE STARLIGHT AN OASIS WITH THE OTHER LEVELS AND THE GOLD??? this dude is such a romantic he’s giving gavin and vincent a run for their money. AND THE ENDING??? so good. (lowkey think avior’s a switch) the spiciness was so good, it was simple but that’s what i think the best part about it is, and it was very romantic with the skinny dipping like omg.

i’m so sad this one didn’t win, but the livestream gave me hope that it might be continued like p l e a s e .

overall, the best one imo and i hope it gets continued eventually :)

gavin: a very good hot boi summer addition especially for gavin! seeing the other bois pop in as well in the beginning was amazing :) AND THE REFERENCE TO THE APRON MADE ME FREAK OUT

freelancer and gavin are such menaces and i love them for it, so horny for each other and it’s great. (flashbacks to huxley’s grilling audio anyone?) and the thought of gavin being submissive o m g. i love that idea so much because we have literally never seen that side of him so i am curious about that (maybe in the future?) the spiciness was amazing and i’m very sure they had a great time back at fl’s place lol

overall a solid great audio and definitely in my top five for this lineup :)

lasko: lasko lasko lasko. this one was great!!! i love seeing their relationship continue to grow and seeing how much lasko has changed since we first saw him! especially in the aspect that he’s used to taking things further but the fact that this is different to him :,) do you hear me crying. i love how easy the listener seems to be with lasko and how much of a calming presence they are for him, i know this relationship is going to be a great one! i hope soon we get an audio of the listener meeting the damn gang and fl! (and hopefully a nickname i’m begging) the spiciness is simple and i’m glad we’re seeing this change of pace!

overall, a nice change of things and i like this audio a lot!

elliott: I LOVE THIS ONE A LOT (this is probably my second favorite) it’s so good!! and it’s nice/bittersweet to see elliott and sunshine happy (like please can they be together again i’m crying) THE DRAGON. don’t even get me started-

the role play i cant- now i know these two definitely play dnd. elliott breaking out of character was hilarious and sunshine actually having some powers was a great idea!! the ending- (i’m crying). this relationship is so good they need to be with each other and i miss them being happy :( the spiciness is great in this one and so so so romantic ughhh

overall, i love this audio and it’s a solid addition to the lineup (i also love the irony of the coolness)

asher: one of the more tame ones and that’s not a bad thing! it’s definitely one of the sweetest audios in the whole channel because omg. asher is so emotionally intelligent and i’m so proud of him for how much he’s grown since the inversion!!! he knows who he is and how life can change so he’s using it to his advantage and i love that for him and babe :) their dynamic is great as always and the spiciness was good! (hopefully they were fine in the car lmao)

the horn part was hilarious and so on point lol

overall, a nice audio! very sweet with a little spice :)

guy: very tame for a guy audio which surprised me! i feel like this one was more focused on guy struggling to make it up to honey which i love because guy is such a menace lol

honey is such a saint but i love seeing how soft they can be with guy while still being a little grumpy (it is cute in guys defense) and i love their relationship and how it’s come to be so far!

the ending was great which added to the spiciness and it was hilarious at the same time, only guy can do that lmao

overall, a very simple but good audio! :)

anton: this one. (do you hear me sobbing.) the story and the dynamic was just in point and the references to the work AND THE PLANT I AM C R Y I N G. as soon as he said gift i knew it would be the plant :,(

seeing how devoted the listener and anton are to each other is beautiful. and how sweet they are with each other even if they seem like complete opposites. AND ANTONS WORDS WERE BEAUTIFUL (even if he said he’s not a man of many words i don’t care) the spiciness was so good too and very natural! it was soooo nice to see that side of anton and i wouldn’t mind if this one was continued :)

overall a lovely audio and probably my third favorite of the lineup :)

damien and huxley: THIS ONE WAS AMAZING. the ba was phenomenal and i’m honestly not mad that they got it, they deserved it and lived up to my expectations!!! the beginning was awesome and i loveee their convos so much more than i should. (the fact that gavin and fl burned the food doesn’t surprise me lol) AND THE SWITCH WITH THEM I CANTTT

the spiciness was great, it felt so natural and they are so great together.

overall (because i’m not gonna spoil the ba) i love this audio. i love them. and it would be unfair for me to put them in the ranking because it’s so good.

sam: this was a great audio!! i love the idea of sam being in the club and just being so awkward lol so i’m glad it’s now canon. THE WHOLE GROUP AS WELL LIKE YES THANK YOU REDACTED. (and the fact that david’s on the dance floor i’m deceased)

their dynamic is so good as always. and the visuals you get from this are great! seeing how they are finally letting loose after dealing with quinn is a great thing and i’m so happy for them. (also the vibes with this one were so good i was dancing the entire time.) the spiciness was so good, just imagining darlin “dancing” with sam like sheeesh

overall a great addition to to the lineup and to sam in general :)

milo: LAST BUT NOT LEAST. this one was so sweet and so relatable. (like i relate to sweetheart so much it’s not even funny.) the fact that they are so comfortable with each other and how sweetheart is stressed over vacation being over is a mood and i love how milo comforts them over it. HE KNOWS EXACTLY THE RIGHT THING TO SAY/DO AND I LOVE HIM. the spiciness was great and i love seeing them together like that because they are always so needy for each other it’s crazy. (and not a bad thing either-)

overall a great audio and i love milo so much. :)

NOW- i’m gonna be a little controversial but i don’t think sam deserved the ba. for a couple reasons: one, he already had one last month. and it was a good one too! i understand that his hbs was good but there are other boys who deserved it. which goes into my second reason, other boys who either haven’t gotten one (anton/avior) or who haven’t had one for a long time (elliott/gavin) i feel deserved to get the ba. putting favoritism aside it makes sense! lastly, (after listening to sams ba) i feel sam’s ba was underwhelming to be honest. there were moments that were amazing but the rest just felt like a normal ba. i was hoping there would be more to it but unfortunately not (for me at least). AND i understand that avior won the poll for an update (i don’t think it should have won btw) but i don’t think that should matter if it was something in the past if that makes sense.

overall, this years was great and i’m very happy in general! new people and the theme was awesome as well with the rewind! (here’s hoping one more is continued at least)

i cant wait for next year’s :)

* so, we got a cute little call with sam and we really see the relationship between sam and will, it’s so sweet to see and how he talks to darlin about it; i’d love to see a will and darlin interaction soon!

* also, we GOTTA learn that nickname because you know damn well vincent teases sam for it constantly

* i LOVE the sudden shift of casual banter with sam to this serious nature of david and what’s happening now: i saw another post say this but i’m gonna reiterate it- DARLINS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IN HOW TO HANDLE THINGS IS AMAZING- if darlin in the early days heard this, they wouldn’t have waited for david; and they definitely wouldn’t hold back like we’ve seen them do in the next audio- it’s so amazing to see their development and how they have regained trust in the pack and how they trust them completely

* WE LOVE A DEFENSIVE SUPPORTIVE DAVID CALLING OUT THE DEPARTMENT’S BS; i just KNOW that darlin was saying in their head, “yeah i can see angel’s appeal to him,” just so funny to me

* also i love that we got a last name from quinn, it makes so much sense given he’s sneaky like a fox. ugh.

* sam’s entrance was utter perfection. chef’s kiss especially with that time skip to him talking one on one with darlin

* sam being so protective over darlin is so beautiful. i love their relationship so much and how it’s blossomed. he wants them to have their justice and he wants to give it to them, but with darlin also evolved and saying it’s okay to save a life, GOD I LOVE THEM SO MUCH; they both have such beautiful caring hearts, they’re perfect for each other and have grown so much together.

* straight to the point sam as it should be, i love him for that.

* SO WE GOT A VOICE CHANGE IN THE BUILDING THANK YOU GBA FOR PROVIDING A WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE 👏🏻 and for making me despise quinn even more- also darlin’s got a thing for accents… i don’t blame them.

* quinn is such a piece of shit, the way he casually talks about frederick and what happened and the aftermath like it’s nothing, and how he talks about darlin’s intimate past with him (WHICH I KNEW HE WOULD DO) just proves how awful he is as a person and how low he’s willing to go just to fulfill his ego. i knew he’d talk about biting darlin’ and god it pissed me off because I KNOW that darlin felt so embarrassed and emotional having to hear that again and having sam, THEIR MATE, hear it from quinn.

* but i will say i love that frederick took sam’s last name because that is so fucking precious. i just wish we heard a little more about bright because they were effected too ya know?

* PROTECTIVE SAM I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

* “sloppy seconds” is a term jealous people use, so quinn is definitely jealous of sam and darlin’s relationship, GET HIS ASS SAM

* quinn is so disrespectful, calling darlin a thrall and “his precious” like ew. stop it. and the fact that sam has to sit through the whole night and darlin just listening to his bullshit is so unfair to both of them.

* HE GOT THE ADDRESS BUT AT WHAT COST; god i just love that sam immediately hugs darlin because god damn they both needed it.

* DAVID HUGGING DARLIN AND REASSURING SAM HAS ME SO EMOTIONAL; it just shows how far they’ve all come and it makes me so happy to see the never ending support

* “let’s go home.” y’all that hits so hard.

* i really hope that new symbol doesn’t stay because quinn doesn’t get to stay any longer than he had to on both sam and darlin’s lives. it is really cool looking i will say.

* the cold hatred part makes so much sense, the pure rage has passed for darlin, it’s now just cold pure hatred that’s even more effective and lasts longer than rage.

* sam is not okay, he deserves comfort too and i’m glad darlin is giving it to him even when they’re falling apart.

* THE FACT THAT SAM SAW THROUGH QUINN SO EASILY- makes me love him even more, he’s not the type to fall for stuff easily, especially with him knowing how quinn was already, like he said, nothing that quinn could have said would have torn them apart, they’re too strong together for that.

* “you are my absolute priority.” do you hear me sobbing-

* IM SORRY HOURS??? i would be fucked up and i imagine they both are cause that is fucked up.

* this speaks for itself: “What I heard in all his rambling was the story of a good, kind person with an open heart trusting a man who promised to care about them, and him using that trust to hurt them. That is not a story that could ever make me think less of you. Just the opposite."

* sam’s comfort hits so differently, he just knows the right words to say and his presence oozes ease and comfort, he’s such a beautiful soul and matches with darlin so well. even when he is hurting he still finds a way to show darlin his love and support, i’m so emotional.

* the whole talking about biting, is so fucking beautiful. we finally have it confirmed why he hasn’t done it yet and it’s so valid. we also see him telling darlin why he hasn’t done it even when they asked BUT THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT FROM EITHER SIDE. THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE SOMETHING. they both have a way of understanding each other, darlin supportive of sam not ready to bite them, and sam not judging darlin for asking and for liking the feeling of it, it’s so fucking bittersweet yet beautiful to see this.

* “you’re my heart darlin.” WHY DOES SAM HAVE THE BEST LINES-

* he’s so protective over darlin, he wants justice for them so bad, and he will do anything to give it to them.

* ANOTHER CALL FROM DAVID??? i was so scared when i first listened to this i was like “oh god what now?”

* but luckily it was just an update- a horribly sad one but an update nonetheless. it’s so terrible to know that the girl suffered and died for quinn’s sick fantasy, we all know from adam and lovely how horrific that type of situation is. and that darlin and sam went through all of those hours just for that girl to be already dead. but like david said, that family has closure now, and we can take any good that we can get, even if it’s at the cost of trauma.

* of course quinn’s gone quiet after this, because he feels he’s won, but he hasn’t, i know david and will are going to see to that.

* I LOVE HOW WILL AND DAVID ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO SEE THIS BASTARD DEAD. just like david said there’s no doubt he’s guilty for everything, and i cant wait to see the justice carried out. just like sam said lol

OKAY. OVERALL.

* i am so so happy to see this chapter come to an end, we’ll get darlin getting their revenge at the end of the month most likely, and it’s going to be so satisfying.

* darlin’s evolution as a character has been such a delight to see. the fact that they are still so strong against everything quinn has done, and now has a solid support system to fall back on, it’s so beautiful. knowing that they can be themselves and fall apart just for sam and the pack to help put them back together. darlin is a strong beautiful person and character, and i know that they’ll only become stronger after this.

* sam is just amazing all around. the way his comfort is so easeful even when he needs it too, and that darlin can provide it to him as well is such a wonderful balance to see. his protective, defensive nature was awesome to see and i loved how his relationship with david has evolved alongside his with darlin’s. their relationship is so beautiful and so strong, it makes me so happy to see how far they’ve come as people together. i love sam so much and he’s definitely risen to be one of my top favorites over the last couple of months.

* david was awesome as always! we truly got to see a balance of him being david with sam and darlin, but then being the alpha when he was with the department and henry. his protective nature of darlin in this was wonderful to see, and i’m so glad we see how far their relationship has come as well. the hugs, the support, the love. gabe would be so proud of him right now, and i know darlin is so happy to be close with david again. same with sam because it’s nice to see the trust in these two men as they become more like family instead of acquaintances, it’s wonderful.

* quinn fox. ugh GOD I HATE THAT HES A GREAT VILLAIN. gba played him so well and it was nice to see a change in his voice, because it was perfect. his tone, his words and his all around personality was awesome to see. he’s such a great villain and probably my favorite villain; and i’ll be so happy to see his head on a spike. :)

* overall, this push was needed, and like it said “overdue” lmao but better late than never! i’m so excited for what’s next for darlin and their recovery over quinn and same with sam. i know that after he’s dead, that sam and darlin will be stronger people and in a stronger relationship because of it. they’re such a beautiful couple and can overcome anything together. what a wonderful three audio push. worthy of the wait, well done again redacted.👏🏻

* i’m not sorry, i’m so pissed off with E’Laetum and Minara, the fact that they were empathy and serenity daemons says a lot to the actions they are taking now

* what i mean is- why did they think it was a good idea to take away starlight’s memories??? that set them back even further! if anything you’d want them to keep their memories so they would want to go back for avior and get the message!

* the fact that they PURPOSELY slowed down time so that avior could finally pull starlight back in is terrible, he has LOST HIMSELF to this place, and he’s lost everything at the point, and it’s heartbreaking.

* STARLIGHT INSULTING THEM AFTER THEY INSULTED AVIOR IS MAKING ME DECEASED- god starlight is such a badass a different breed istg, they don’t give any fucks, i love them.

* so starlights memories will be returned to them??? well hopefully that puts their relationship with avior in a much better place, and I HOPE, that that’s the start of the last part.

* i’m sorry but you two chose to suffer because you chose to sacrifice yourselves, you didn’t have to, but you had to expect there would be pain that comes with it. i want to feel bad but i can’t because seeing the effect it’s had on two people is frustrating.

like i said, i hope the next one starts with starlight gaining their memories back and just, reuniting with avior in a way that is so beautiful. i really want them to be happy, and whether that’s together right now or in the future? they both just deserve happiness, and i hope we get a glimpse of that in the last part.

i haven’t done one of these in a long time, but i wanted to say my thoughts on the finale because it’s a huge deal.

• first of all, the dreaming AGAIN. the meridian is not letting up! at this point starlight has to know that avior is telling the truth.

• then, the meeting. god damn this hurt. we are truly seeing avior fall apart, he’s known to be the collected intelligent inchoate, and keeps his composure, but after his confession we really are seeing him fall apart and lose himself. he’s not the same, and it’s heartbreaking.

• I LOVE THAT HES FIGURING OUT WHATS HAPPENING. i wanted him or starlight to for so long, and it’s nice to hear avior’s thought process and him eliminating possibilities and his theory on why him and starlight are still here. i’m so glad we’re seeing them finally figure this out.

• him losing it BROKE ME. his desperation to get out but also wanting to keep starlight safe no matter what is such a bittersweet contrast. but starlight is stubborn, and i’m so glad that avior accepts that he cannot and should not control starlight’s decisions.

• the whole existential talk got me too, as someone who hates talking about it, it’s fascinating seeing how avior asked questions like that when he first coalesced to how he feels about it now. with how daemons live forever compared to humans, the idea that him and starlight could live together forever in this hell, than have something temporary in the real world… wow.

• THE WALK THERE. GOD DAMMIT. I KNEW HE WAS GONNA SAY “for the person i love”, I KNEW IT. I HATE THAT I KNEW IT. he truly loves and cares for starlight, and the fact that he cannot do anything but be there for them is literally tearing him apart as he put it. the whole idea that he wants to fall apart but literally THE MERIDIAN IS KEEPING HIM THERE, hurts.

• THE HUGGGGG THEY BOTH NEEDED THAT.

i’d like to believe that starlight said to him, “I care for you too Avior, and I believe you.” IN MY OPINION AT LEAST BECAUSE IT MAKES SENSE TO HOW AVIOR RESPONDED.

• god i’m just imagining a shot of them facing away from each other, both in tears, fuck i wish i could draw so i could show that!!!!

what i love more about this is that sam truly understands the frustration first hand. he knows the suffering behind waiting and nothing being done. he can truly understand darlin and help them to the best of his abilities and not bullshit them. he literally tells them his thoughts about when he first heard and what he wants to do, but he knows what’s best and to stay calm.

this is a point that’s been brought up into light for a while now. the fact that darlin wasn’t wrong in wanting to do this on their own from the start, because they didn’t have a lot to lose. they were separated from the pack, and therefore making quinn feel like attacking them wouldn’t work on darlin. and it makes sense. but like sam is about to say, it’s a reason to go back and live instead of dying alongside it.

i wasnt around when fred and bright were on the channel, and that hurts me to this day lmao because i’ve gotten so curious on what they were like and how sam was (even if he was an asshole). i still would’ve loved to hear how it was, and based on what people have said, yes sam is probably better off without that playlist leaving a bad taste in peoples mouths, but it’s still intriguing, whether he was bad or not. it also leaves more room for growth in the good he has done and what he has become as a character. idk just my thoughts. because most of us weren’t around and left with curious thoughts, so the return of those two with a somewhat better situation would be insane.

the way sam and darlin have evolved together is so fucking astonishing. they trust each other with everything and anything. it’s so beautiful to see similar people love each other deeply and have an understanding of each other in a way most people in their life don’t. not with them i mean. i love their relationship so fucking much. one of my top fav pairings on the channel. well done.

i also like the fact now that there’s most likely been development in fred and brights relationship with sam. i’ve heard sam was not the best of people with bright and apparently blaming them. but hearing how he talks about them now, makes me think he truly sees them as a person who made a mistake and never intended for this to happen. and that they really and truly care for fred. i’d like to think sam and bright are more caring of each other now.

i truly have hope for a good ending in this plot line, it’s a high hope but i always look for the bright side of things, this being no exception.

now- damien and huxley’s relationship has only gotten better and better. there’s always been some sort of connection between them, and they’ve always gotten along together. the way they’ve come to care and love each other is extraordinary and beautiful to see. after inversion, fuck it made them both realize not to waste any time, and they truly love each other. i love their relationship so much. they’re perfect together and i can’t wait to see more!

lasko- precious boy, he’s so sweet still to this day and so supportive. redacted could’ve gone about this in a different way and he’ll maybe in the future give lasko some angst- EVEN IF HE DOESNT DESERVE IT. but i’d like to think he’s either just happy with himself, or another character.

wow, all i can say is wow. this series is something i did not expect i would come to love so much when i first listened- but it had me hooked from the first audio. now i was one of the luckier ones and got to catch up before the “confession” audio. but i still had to wait and feel everyone’s pain of the wait LOL

but it was so worth it. getting to this point to where we’re almost caught up in the current timeline is worth it. seeing the character development slowly going from slow burn to not and reuniting was worth the wait.

avior has definitely risen up in my ranks for the characters because his development and arc is a beautiful thing. we saw him at his lowest and highest moments, we saw him make mistakes, learn and love. he is a character that i’ve grown to love and i’m sure other people have as well.

starlight. starlight is truly one of my favorite listeners at this point- they’re such an intriguing person, no wonder avior fell for them LMAO, but they have this personality that’s infectious and a soul that’s admirable; they are a person who is stubborn in the best way possible and it’s been amazing seeing how they dealt with the situation. and how they are with avior back then, when they got back in, and how they are now!

i’m so excited for season two, i have a lot of theories and ideas- for example, how they could possibly meet people working for project meridian, or helping take down closeknit with sunshine and elliott (maybe even sweetheart?), and maybe even colliding with vega and warden at some point! there’s so many options and ways this can go, and i’m so thrilled to see that they’ll do it together.

thank you redacted for such a wonderful series and i speak for everyone when i say that we cannot wait for what will go on in season two.

what’s next- now i believe we would get more updates with the balance after the avior season one finale! that’s going to be something- just back to back angst WE DO NOT HAVE A BREAK LOL, but i’m so excited for the balance and the upcoming simpler videos! let’s see what the next lineup has in store :)
