Something I have thought about when documenting the reading notes is the quality of how it is documented writing and photograph wise. I thought about re-writing the group notes for documentation sake; but I see that there is a beauty in the “messiness.” With having 5-10 minutes to discuss what we captured from the readings, we chat and swiftly write out what we want to share with our professor and peers. Sometimes, I am the scribe for the group and I find my speed writing takes on its own form. For example, photographed is the word “less” that I wrote with a permanent bullet-tipped marker. I was shocked with how beautiful my s’ came to be! Regarding the poor documentation of photographing the notes, I rush myself to take a photo before I forget to document it which means I do not get the best angle. There is also the rush to take a photo fast so that others can also document it themselves. As we are midway through the class, I am rethinking to take a breather and to photograph the photos neater. However, there is something about being in that 5-10 minute moment and writing and sharing the groups’ learning, discovery, understanding, and questions with the readings that we do that is captured in “scribbles”
Rudolph Arnheim "The Intelligence of Visual Perception "
This reading reminded me of the activity where we were to write about the space objectively (purely what we see) versus with the perception we hold (emotional, feelings).
Robert Irwin "A Non-Hierarchical Order "
This reading made me wonder if abstract and subjective the same concept or not? I also enjoyed how Irwin used a bridge as an analogy to saying how about artists setting the intention and potential (spelling error from notes), and knowledge of history to not simply recreate the same bridge/art.
John Dewey "Individuality and Experience

It is my conclusion, based on these and other more rigorous studies, that the sensitivity of which I have written has a downside: adolescent girls and women are more easily wounded than males, and many of them experience a lifelong sense of inadequacy. The pain that results from being ridiculed, bullied, or left out as a…

Here are my notes on, Platform (Amazon), By: Michael Hyatt:
As one of my favorite marketing gurus, David Ogilvy, once wrote, “Great marketing only makes a bad product fail faster.” How true.
We don’t need more messages or products or services. Instead, we need better messages, products, and services.
The truth is, mediocrity is natural. You don’t have to do anything to drift there. It…
