oooo im so glad i stumbled upon u, i used to ship bellarke a lot and at the end of season five (like while it was airing) i was still shipping them, and then beginning of the year i got my two other friends to start watching the show and i was like “but we dont like clarke in this house” and i always asked myself why i said this and i went and re evaluated all of clarkes actions in season 5 and i agree that i think everyone should hate her, especially spacekru, who cares if she saved their lives
Welcome!! :D I know what that’s like, switching suddenly, I pretty much did the same thing, honestly. It wasn’t until this last hiatus, after season 5 was over, that I looked back on the season and what Clarke did, and saw it in a whole different light. Don’t get me wrong, I was beyond pissed at her while I was watching it live myself, especially after 5x09; but I didn’t actually hate her. But at the same time, I never full liked her either throughout the whole series. That dislike didn’t turn into full-on hate until this last hiatus when I wrapped my head around everything that happened and realized just how shitty it was. Believe it or not, I actually LIKED Bellarke for a period of time myself - I never shipped it, but I still liked it and their friendship. That all changed in season 5 though. Now, I’m Team!Spacekru (was always Team!Spacekru, but still), and they DO have a right to hate her, be pissed at her and not willing to forgive her after the heaps of betrayals in season 5 alone.
