Hi! Most characters in TADC represent a mental illness (Zooble with body dysmorphia + depression, etc), so what mental illness would Lyra represent?

Anxiety and OCD for sure, and bouts of depression here and there. Also dissociates more than the average person. Before the Circus, she was in a dark time. In her human body, she would constantly pick at her face and arms [dermatillomania]; but now with smooth, ceramic skin, there's not really much to pick at! So she fiddles/scratches her hands a lot. If she's sitting at a desk or reading a book, she'll reach up and boing her halo around. Later, once she and Caine are in an established relationship, he'll give her a necklace that quickly becomes her favourite fidget.
She's also undiagnosed highly functioning autistic. She loves her routines, is a pro at wearing her Social Masks due to her theatre background, and enjoys her alone time to recharge. She often enjoys painting or reading, or spending time with Caine [One of the few that doesn't drain her social battery. She knows she can take a backseat and just enjoy her time while Caine happily takes the lead].
