For other followers, this might help! Yesterday I banged my hand very hard into a doorknob (by accident). It hurt like hell. I applied a waxy stick with arnica extract (I bought it at my local supermarket, but you can find it in pharmacies, and you can probably make your own cream at home). Today it still hurts a little, but not as much and there is no bruise, even though it was starting to turn purple when I applied the arnica. It's a good remedy if you're as clumsy as I am!-
