Thank you so much for asking about them 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 know that I love you for it! And thank you, they are so cute, and I’m ironically so proud of my first Nicko/Frankie fic, I feel it’s one of the best things I’ve written this year, and it’s for a niche adjacent ship 😌

1. How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?

I have actually been thinking about this all day! So, I think that while Nick seems like the big spoon type, he loves to be the little spoon. He loves to be held, so that’s often how they fall asleep. They usually wake up apart. Frankie has nightmares pretty often, so sometimes Nick wakes up alone. But when Frankie is still there in the morning, soft morning cuddles are definitely in order, Nicko pressing up close behind him.

Nick loves anytime he gets to rest his head on Frankie’s stomach, usually laying tangled together on the couch 😊

14. Anything they both dread?

Tbh, these two dudes have been thru a lot, and they are working thru their own shit, but other than they they are happy and nothing bad happens to them ever 😤 (this isn’t entirely true, because I have some fic planned for whumptober)

25. How much time do they spend together? Do they share their feelings, or hold things in?

Camping, traveling and any kind of outdoor adventures!

Nicko is always looking for something fun and exciting to do, and Frankie will happily follow him anywhere. When they’re not traveling Frankie loves to spend quiet evenings at home, cuddled up with Nick and their dogs watching bad reality tv shows or bad movies.

So for this ship, the events of Triple Frontier are much more recent than the events of A Perfect Getaway. So as far as feelings go, Nick is definitely the more open of the pair, he’s very much the talk about your feelings type, not hold anything back. If it’s on his mind he’s going to talk about it. He’s had a lot longer to heal from the events of the movie and losing Gina. (Sorry Gina, but in this universe she didn’t make it 😔)

as far as I know a DVD was never released, BBC or whoever briefly released a digital version but now you can only rent it (or search on Youtube, it’s there but under a slightly different name to avoid the DigitalTheather copywriter police)

Tyvian poison, he’d smelled it on Corvo’s breath. They had, perhaps, an hour.

He worked quickly, digging into the chest filled with herbs and river krust acid himself, recalling everything his mother had taught him. Tyvian poison was tricky, often laced with unpredictable ingredients.

To make sure. Those bastards.

He bent low over the cot.

“I won’t let anyone hurt you, you’re safe with me.”

Corvo’s shivers did not ease.

Daud saved Corvo’s life that day.

Tonight, he’s in Corvo’s study, frowning at reports and making notes in the margins that, hopefully, will serve to secure Emily’s reign. It’s a hope he shares, even if it still feels foreign in his chest. Just as the warmth that resides there whenever he dares a glance at the man across from him.

“Admit it, you enjoy moving among the aristocracy,” Corvo taunted him once during training, up on a slippery rooftop. “And your freedom.”

“I fell in love with you, not them,” Daud returned easily. He was a fool, he knew.

Corvo kissed him nonetheless.
