Re-Gifted Short Film Animation - What is the purpose?
“Re-Gifted” Animated Short Film by Eaza Shukla at Ringling College of Art and Design. This is a film about a decorative object that struggles to lead a meaningful existence as it gets stuck in the cycle of re-gifting.
This animation made me think more about the meaning and purpose of our string brand proposition idea. Much like the decorative egg in the film, I find that our string concept is lacking its meaningful existence. This was also highlighted in today’s class when our group was hit with the critical feedback of ‘so this is just a fancy box of string - I wouldn’t buy it’
This made me question - What is the purpose of our string? Who would buy it and why? What makes it so appealing? What makes it special to the consumer eye? What is our vision? What is the goal? Who is our target market?
My next steps from here are to research more about customer personas, the target market to identify the vision, goal and purpose for our string.
