Hello and welcome! This is an RP blog for my RDR/2 OC, Eli Waters. Below, you'll find an introduction containing all the information you need to know about Eli's appearance, personality, and history.

Before that, here's a brief introduction to me as a mun, and some rules for playing with me:

• My name is Julian! My main is @starfleetcowboy.

• I am 25+ and, especially as RDR is a series that deals with some pretty mature themes, am uncomfortable playing with minors.

• I am happy to write mature content, including violence, substance abuse, suggestive content, etc. I am up for ✨ spicy RP ✨ but would prefer to keep anything very explicit private, i.e., in DMs or on Discord, if that suits you better.

• I really have very few hard lines in roleplay; horrible shit happens in life, so sometimes horrible shit happens in writing, and I think fictional spaces are a good place to unpack that. With that being said, I do ask that especially triggering material – graphic descriptions of abuse, sexual assault, etc. – is discussed beforehand and not sprung on me.

• Though I am by no means an expert on this period, I try to do what I can to make sure my writing remains as true to the era as possible. Eli Is what we would refer to today as a trans man, but I will be sticking to more era-appropriate language (i.e., 'cross-dresser'; see below for a note on his gender identity). Please be aware of this before engaging with him.

Appearance: Light brown hair, worn short and parted on the right. Dark grey eyes. Well-built from a life spent on the road, with broad shoulders and muscled arms. He tends towards loose-fitting shirts and jackets. Distinguishing features include a smattering of freckles over his nose and a scar on his upper lip.

Horse: Dapple grey shire named Agatha

A note on Eli's gender: Eli is a trans man (or, as he would likely have been described at the time, a 'cross-dresser') in late nineteenth- to early twentieth-century North America. As such, he keeps the truth of his identity under wraps, simply living as a man. This was not as uncommon as you may think; there are numerous historical records of people assigned female at birth who lived as men in this era, some of whom were only 'discovered' after death. Given how rigid gender roles and expectations were, a trans man could often pass so long as he wore men’s clothing and kept his hair short. Most people would never expect to see a woman dressed in such a way, and would therefore assume he was male.
